It seems that the farther north one travels, the more Subway charges for their now famous "$5 Foot Longs" (You're singing the song right now, aren't you?). In Anchorage, they boast $6 sandwiches, which may be in response to Carl Jr's six-dollar burgers. However, in Bethel (OMG! They have a Subway in Bethel, AK?!?), the sandwich is now worth $8! Inflation???
Based on that math, I now have 32 phlanges and am a towering 9 feet 8 inches tall! NBA here I come!
One of these days, likely once I get over the sticker shock, I'll post some prices we pay for groceries.
